Ms. Anjali Tomar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. She completed her Master’s degree in Economics from Panjab University in 2015 and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013 from Postgraduate Government College for Girls, affiliated with Panjab University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi. Her academic interests span across Public Economics, Public Finance, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Agriculture. She has over five years of teaching experience and has previously taught at Shyam Lal College and Indraprastha College for Women, enriching her academic and teaching experience in the field of economics. Additionally, she has made valuable contributions to the education sector by working as a visiting faculty member in S.M.R Degree College, located in the tribal areas of Uttarakhand.
Presented a research paper titled “Structural Transformation and Female Participation in Agriculture: A Panel Data Analysis” at the International Conference on “Growth, Equity and Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities in 21st Century” organised by the Department of Economics, CCSU on 24-25 March,2026
