CA Dr. Gurcharan Sachdeva is an accomplished academician with extensive experience in teaching. His journey in academia has been marked by significant milestones.
After graduating from Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College (formerly known as S.G.T.B. Khalsa (eve) College), University of Delhi in 1999, he obtained his M. Com from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi in 2002. The University of Delhi conferred M. Phil and Ph. D upon him in 2004 and 2009 respectively. Dr. Sachdeva is Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India His dedication to education extends over 15 years, during which he served the Department of Commerce at Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi for more than 2 years.
Dr. Sachdeva’s current areas of teaching and research interests include Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Business Statistics, Direct Taxation, GST, Financial Management, and Operations Research. He is a life member of the Indian Accounting Association. Dr. Sachdeva has published a book titled “Corporate Governance and Role of Stock Exchanges in India" and has authored four research papers. He actively participates in organizing seminars and conferences, presenting his research findings at both national and international events.
