Dr. Shamsher Singh is Professor in the Department of Commerce, PGDAV College (University of Delhi). He has a teaching experience of more than 16 years. He holds M.Com, Ph.D., PGDBA, MBA, NET (Commerce), NET (Management).
He has published more than a dozen research papers/articles in national and international journals of repute and two chapters in edited book. He has presented more than a dozen research papers in national and international Seminar/Conferences/Workshops and also participated in more than two dozen Seminar/Conferences/Workshops. He has completed three Orientation Programme, Refresher Courses and around a dozen Faculty Development Programme. He is life time member of Indian Accounting Association (Delhi Chapter) and Indian Commerce Association.
His participation and contribution to the corporate life of the college is tremendous. He has served as Student Union Advisor and Convener of the Student Union. He has been associated with Time Table Committee, Purchase Committee, Admission Committee, Canteen Committee, Cultural Committee, Roaster Committee, Blood Donation Camps, Placement Cell, SAF Committee, GEM Purchase Committee, Commercium (Co-Convenor). He has also holds the post of Secretary of the staff Association of the college and Liaison officer. Currently he is a member of Stock Verification Committee, Convenor of Grievance Redressal of SC/ST/OBC/NCL/EWS/PwBD/Minority Candidates and Convenor of Time-table Committee.
