Accounting and Finance
Dr. Rakesh Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at PGDAV College. He did M.Com, M.Phil, Ph.D.and Post-Graduate Diploma in Taxation from JNV University, Jodhpur. He has teaching experience of more than 17 years in the college, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His teaching interests include Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, Income Tax and Auditing. He has participated in various workshops, conferences, webinars and published papers in journals of academic repute. He has a deep interest in research work in the Insurance sector. He has handled various administrative and leadership roles in different capacities. He also looked after the qualitative aspects of education as a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell functioning in the College from 2017 to 2021. He is also a member of the Indian Accounting Association, Delhi Chapter.
