Dr. Sonia Sabharwal is an Associate Professor in Department of Commerce in PGDAV College. She is having teaching, training and research experience of more than 25 years. She has completed her B.Com (H) from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in 1992. She has also completed M.Com (1994), M. Phil (1999) and PhD (2014) from Delhi School of Economics. She has also cleared DOEACC 'O' level examination in the year 2005.

She has published her research work in various journals of repute like ‘The Indian Journal of Commerce’ and 'PURUSHARTHA - A journal of Management, Ethics and Spirituality.'

For the paper presented on “Talent Quotient Model for Effective Talent Management: An Empirical Study” in the 63rd All India Commerce Conference. Annual Conference of The Indian Commerce Association at Goa University, Goa, she was awarded with Silver Medal for the Paper.

Besides academics, she also has a great cultural aptitude. She has worked in the capacity of member / Convenor / Co- convenor of various committees/societies. She has been Convenor of Placement Cell and Commerce Society, Commercium. She has also worked as Co-Convenor of Admission Committee. She has been an active member of Canteen Committee and Sports Committee also. She was In-change of College Web-Site updation for period 2013-2020.

She has written lessons for B.A. Program Application Course on “Entrepreneurship and Small Business”, sponsored by South Campus, Delhi University. She has been associated with the Development of Modules for M.Com under e-PG Pathshala Project by UGC
